Pocket Checked is a personal finance app that helps users track spending, plan budgets, and hit savings goals. Built with a premium dark UI and intuitive charts, the app transforms financial data into clear visual insights. We developed the iOS application end-to-end and shipped it to the App Store.

Financial Blind Spots & Low Engagement in Generic Budget Apps
Existing budgeting apps overwhelmed users with raw data and confusing spreadsheet-like interfaces. Users abandoned apps within days because financial management felt like a chore rather than an empowering habit.

Gamified Budget UX with Smart Category Auto-Detection
We designed a premium dark-themed iOS app with intuitive donut charts, animated progress bars, and a weekly spending cadence view. Smart category detection groups transactions automatically, and savings goals are tied directly to budget surplus calculations.
